A table of everything this site asks you for, the reason it is asked, and who ends up seeing it.
Revised October 2026. Questions about anything below go to hello@edmondfoundationworks.com.
Everything we hold, line by line
| Item | Reason it is asked for | Who it reaches |
|---|---|---|
| Your name | So the person returning your call knows who they are speaking to | Our office; the crew assigned to your property |
| Telephone number | The only way we arrange an inspection time | Our office; the crew assigned to your property |
| ZIP code | Determines which jurisdiction permits the work and whether the address is one we reach | Our office; the permitting authority if work proceeds |
| Description of the symptoms | Lets the inspector arrive knowing whether to expect a slab, a crawl space or a drainage problem | Our office; the inspector |
| Anything typed into the notes field | Context you thought was worth adding, which is usually the most useful part | Our office; the inspector |
| The number you dialled from | Recorded automatically by the telephone system so a dropped call can be returned | Our office |
| Call audio, where recorded | Accuracy when taking down an address or a measurement. A notice plays first and you may decline | Our office |
| Elevation readings and site photographs | They are the evidence behind the report and the basis of any scope | You; our office; a consulting engineer if one is engaged |
| Pages visited on this website | Counted in aggregate so we know which guides are worth keeping. No cookies, no profile, no advertising identifier | Our office only, as totals |
How long any of it stays
Survey data, scopes, permit paperwork and invoices are held for as long as a warranty, a permit record or a tax obligation requires, because those are the documents you may need years after the work. Enquiries that never became a job are cleared out once they are plainly stale. Say the word at hello@edmondfoundationworks.com and we will remove your contact details from the active list; documents tied to completed work we have to keep, and we will tell you which those are.
Things you are entitled to ask for
A copy of anything we recorded about your property, including the raw elevation figures and the photographs, is yours on request at no charge — that material describes your house and you should have it. You can also ask us to correct something, delete your contact record, or stop contacting you altogether. None of your information is sold, rented or handed to advertisers, and we do not run advertising trackers on this site.
